Smith Corona Super G

These look better than they are. I've always been curious. Finally got one for a good deal because its carriage always shot to the end.

Of course you worry about the escapement but actually it was the power spacer sticking on. I fixed it by bending the button up a bit and that let it deactivate and function correctly.

The problem now is the ribbon drive doesn't appear to work, not quite sure why but it is clearly inferior parts so we'll see how good of a fix is even possible.

It also came without its proprietary spools. I found a 3D print online that might work, we'll see.
