This machine was clearly inspired by the Mignon but made much more cheaply. When I got it, the carriage was detached and was missing its bearings. I was able to fix it up and get it working ... for was well as I suspect these machines ever worked. Still very cool.


I also made it new 3d printed feet and rollers, the first time I had designed and printed parts for a machine on my own. I also had to replace the 2mm fed roller shaft since it was simply crimped in place. Rather than crimp in the new one (with the new rollers) I used commercially available rubber "boots" to give it a little lateral stop.

Condition

vertical alignment would be nice, not sure if possible

From Richard Polt's collection, purchased at the 2026 Cincinnati Typewriter Swap Meet. He was seeling it cheap because of its condition.
